The CAMH Mental Health Toolkit was created to give people an easier way to find support and guidance when it comes to mental health. We know it can feel overwhelming to know where to start or how to help someone you care about, so we’ve gathered trusted, evidence-based resources all in one place to make the journey a little simpler.

This toolkit is here for you—whether you’re going through a tough time, caring for a loved one, or just wanting to learn more. Our goal is to offer tools and information that are clear, practical, and supportive, so you don’t have to navigate things alone. Whatever step you’re ready to take, we hope this resource helps you feel more confident and connected along the way.

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world’s leading research centres in its field.

With a dedicated staff of more than 5,000 physicians, clinicians, researchers, educators and support staff, CAMH offers outstanding clinical care to more than 38,000 patients each year. The organization conducts groundbreaking research, provides expert training to health care professionals and scientists, develops innovative health promotion and prevention strategies, and advocates on public policy issues at all levels of government. And through our Foundation, we’re working to raise tens of millions of additional dollars to fund new programs and research and augment services.
